A proposal is one of the few moments in life that is completely unscripted. As a proposal photographer serving Kitchener-Waterloo and all of Ontario, I work invisibly — arriving early, scouting the angle, and positioning myself before you do. You focus on the moment. I focus on everything else. Whether you're planning something intimate at Victoria Park, dramatic at the Elora Gorge, or windswept at Confederation Beach in Hamilton — I make sure nothing is missed.

After the Yes
Once the moment has settled and the smiles won't stop, we transition into a short engagement portrait session — just the two of you, still glowing. These portraits make the perfect announcement photos and the first images of your story as an engaged couple.

How do I book without my partner finding out? ↓
Everything is handled discreetly. All communication comes to you directly, all invoices and confirmations are addressed to you alone. Your partner will never see a thing — until you want them to.
What locations in Ontario work best for a proposal shoot? ↓
Victoria Park and Waterloo Park are perennially popular — beautiful, accessible, and full of natural light. The Grand River trail in Cambridge, Elora Gorge, Rockway Gardens in Kitchener, and Confederation Beach in Hamilton are also stunning. I travel across Ontario and can advise based on your vision, season, and timing.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate? ↓
We monitor conditions together in the days leading up. If weather makes the location unworkable, I offer one free reschedule. Some of the most beautiful proposal images come from overcast or moody light — don't count out a cloudy day.
When will we receive our images? ↓
You will receive a preview of 5–8 images within 48 hours. Your full retouched gallery is delivered within 7–10 business days via a private online gallery link.
Can you photograph the ring too? ↓
Yes. A dedicated ring detail shot is included in every package — a macro close-up, styled with natural light or a meaningful element from the scene.

Every proposal engagement begins with a confidential consultation. We discuss the plan, the location, the timing, and any signals to watch for. I become part of the operation — coordinating quietly in the background so the only thing your partner notices is you.

I plan every shoot around the light — whether that's the warm glow through the trees at Waterloo Park, the soft reflection off the Grand River at dusk in Cambridge, or the open lakeside sky at Confederation Beach in Hamilton. That quality of light is what separates a proposal photo from a proposal photograph.
