Based in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge, my journey in photography is built on the intersection of engineering precision and artistic storytelling. I specialize in capturing the unscripted magic of childhood and authentic family milestones.
The heart behind the lens
A Quiet Thread
Photography has always been a quiet thread running through my life—even before I realized it. My grandfather owned a small photography studio in a rural village in India. Long before digital cameras and social media, he was preserving memories for families in our community. I didn't know it then, but that legacy was shaping me.
I didn't grow up as "the camera kid." It wasn't until 2016, during a business trip to Germany, that everything changed. On a whim—without really knowing how to use it—I bought my first camera, a Sony A58.
The Intersection of Logic and Light
By day, I navigate the structured world of engineering. By night—and every weekend in between—I’m immersed in the art of storytelling. What started as a deep-dive into the mechanics of optics and light sensors quickly became an obsession. While I still value the precision of my 9–5, photography has become my essential creative outlet, allowing me to document authentic milestones for families with an engineer’s eye for detail and an artist’s heart.
Capturing the Magic of Childhood
In 2025, I finally decided to take the leap into commercial work. By then, I had discovered what truly lights me up: families and children.
As a father of two, I understand kids—their energy, their unpredictability, their magic. I don't believe in forcing stiff smiles or perfect poses. I love capturing moments as they naturally unfold—the laughter between siblings, the quiet hugs, and the in-between glances that tell real stories.
While candid photography is my heart, I also understand that professional sessions sometimes require gentle direction. I’m constantly learning and refining how to guide families in a way that still feels natural and true to them.
